What Is the WP Recipe Maker Ingredients Injector?
The Ingredients Injector automatically maps each ingredient to its correct cooking step in your recipes. No more manual matching and clicking. Try our Ingredients Injection interface for yourself on our public demo page. Preview the merged results, and import back into WP Recipe Maker. Once you’ve convinced yourself that this is what you need and want for all your recipes, we can assist you with batch processing all of them.
How It Works
Paste your recipe JSON URL
Enter the URL in this format:
https://example.com/wp-json/wp/v2/wprm_recipe/RECIPE_ID
(You can find the recipe ID in WP Recipe Maker’s Manage section.)
Click “Inject Ingredients”
The tool analyzes the ingredients list and instruction steps, then assigns each ingredient to the step where it’s used.
Preview and Download
A live preview shows the combined JSON. Click Download JSON to save the updated file.
Import to WP Recipe Maker
In WordPress go to WP Recipe Maker → Import Recipes → Import from JSON → choose Edit existing recipes by ID or slug, upload your file, and click Import JSON.
